SA CH.SYLON SAPHOOKA BULLET OF SIVHANA

Bullet was our first staffie that we bought when Marieta and I got married. Bullet has been extremely successful under specialist judges from all over the world, especially the U.K. Harry Carter (UK) saw a lot of potential in Bullet and after some negotiations and careful thoughts we came to an agreement to send Bullet to the UK to see how he does at the shows but also due to the fact that there were a good demand for red studs. This meant that for Bullet to travel to the UK he had to first go into quarantine for 6 months or we could send him to the USA to stay with someone for six months. Obviously we deiced on the latter and we met new great staffie people called Butch and Susie Krauth.
Bullet arrived in Northern California, USA in September 2009 and stayed with Susie and Butch Krauth of the Northern California Staffordshire Bull Terrier club. Bullet sired some offspring in the USA, hopefully he would have succeeded in contributing positively to the breed in the USA. Bullet holds the record for 15 viles of semen that they collected at the semen bank in Northern California, only a great dane managed to produce more and that was 18 viles. He is known as SUPER STUD! Bullet had a good show career in the USA and yet again did very well under specialist judges.
Bullet arrived in the UK in May 2009 and at his very first show he made history by becoming the first SA bred stafford to win cc's and best of breed. Bullet is also the first SA bred stafford to qualify for CRUFTS. Harry and Gill Carter cared very much for Bullet and I saw from the photos and emails that Harry, Gill and Bullet had a very special bond and it made us feel really glad that they too could have the opportunity to get to know this special dog.
Bullet is L2 HGA, HC and PHPV clear, and he has fantastic hip and elbow scores. Bullet has just about been tested for anything and everytime he passes with flying colours. Bullet is the ultimate dog!
Although Bullet only showed for half the year in 2008, he was rated 107 in the Animal Talk top 200 for 2008 and he qualified for the prestigious Goldfields Dog of the year 2008 competition where he made it to the final 28 dogs. Bullet will return to the SA shown scene in 2010, he is 5 years old and is in the best condition of his life.
A Sincere thanks to the specialist judges from the UK that thought so highly of Bullet, it's an honor to have had you go over him and get your opinions.
Bullet was the most successful stafford in South Africa when it came to the UK judges and South African staffordshire bull terrier specialist judges in 2007 and 2008
Bullet won 5 points in the USA at his first Major Championship show in 2009 under UK Specialist judge Colin Davies. In total Bullet has won 10 points and 3 reserves in 4 shows in the USA, and only required 5 more points to gain his champion title.

Well balanced rich red with a white chest certainly my dog of the day, he as champion written all over him, one of the best movers of the day. This dog attracted my attention when he entered the ring. He as an attractive expression, he certainly rates very highly, the best red I have seen for a good while. Terrific head shape with correct proportions, good breadth and depth of muzzle and of correct length. Neatest of ears, correct dentition and good eye placement, nice width to front, well boned forelegs, strong pasterns and neat well padded feet clean shoulders, nice spring of rib with a good tuck up at waist. Short coupled with a level top line standing also on the move, nice tail set carried very well. Good hind angulation, well let down hocks, moved with decisive drive from the hindquarters, legs were parallel when viewed from the front and rear. Never failed to put a foot wrong, presented and handled as he deserves. It was a pleasure to award best of breed to this dog, he is worthy of holding his own with the very best. (Best of Breed)

"1st Ten Napel's Sylon Saphooka Bullet of Sivhana. A well balanced red dog with a white vest and excellent pigmentation. He has a short foreface, neat ears, super mouth with large teeth and scissor bite. He's a stocky dog with plenty of bone, broad front, deep brisket and adequate rib. He has a level topline and moved ok. I was looking at him again in the challenge and I would not be surpised to see him taking CC's in the next few months. Best junior."
Alec Waters (UK) - Pietermaritzburg Kennel Club 2006
" The Junior class was a good class, won by JL Ten Napel's Sylon Saphooka Bullet of Sivhana, a worthy first and a sound mover."

1st - Sylon Saphooka Bullet of Sivhana.
Red Dog. Cracking dog, super head proportions which is balanced whichever way
you look at it. Broad and deep through without any exaggerations. Neat rose ears, well placed round dark eyes, correct length of muzzle to skull, good strong teeth, perfect scissor bite. Very good front, up on his pasterns, good feet, strong clean powerful neck, which flowed into his well laid back and shoulders. Good spring of rib, excellent tuck up making him light in loins. Powerful well angulated back end, level top line going to and fro, moved with purpose and drive. To go over this dog was an absolute pleasure. My full compliments to the ones who got this dog in such superb condition. Well done. My pleasure in awarding him Best of Opposite Sex.
Jeff Ford (UK) Three Counties 2009
1st Carter's SA CH. Sylon Saphooka Bullet of Sivhana
Red dog who was the star of the day, reminded me of a dog I owned in 1977, not a strong dog and not overdone in any ways, but in perfect balance and bang to standard, nice head, perfect mouth, tight lipped, perfect straight front, tight feet, nice bone, topline of the best, quarters firm and toned, moved around the ring with drive, could not deny him top honors of the day, shown and handled to perfection. CC and B.O.B, short listed in final 6, best of luck to him.
